Bernadette has more than a decade of experience as a Physician Assistant working in emergency medicine at Level 1 Trauma Centers. HealthGrades rated her hospital in the top 5% of the nation for emergency medicine in 2011 and 2018. She helped design and implement a program, Rapid Medical Evaluation (RME)®, that resulted in improved operational efficiency and higher patient satisfaction, while ambulance diversion time, time-to-provider (TTP), left without being seen (LWBS) rates, and ED overcrowding was decreased.
